Possible, a teacher teaching a foreign language learning without the use of mother tongue?

Possible only if teachers use Direct (Direct Method). This method is the reaction of the grammar translation method that is less elaborate use of the target language in classroom learning. Direct methods assume that learning a second language or foreign language with native language, namely with the use of language directly and intensively in oral and written communication. The purpose of this method is the use of oral language for students to communicate naturally, such as communications made by his mother language. Its use in the classroom should be like native speakers, not too focused on grammar rules, avoid the use of mother tongue at the time of delivering the material and not carry out the translation. Use of the text is intended not to analyze it in terms of grammar, but for the purpose of reading consumption (entertainment value). Learning techniques in general can be a presentation of concrete words in communication through demonstrations, displays objects and images directly, or through associations, context, and definition.

Where is better, native English speaker or English teacher in teaching the English language?

Each teacher's background as native speakers and non native speakers has advantages and disadvantages. Native speakers has advantages mastery of language, because of course native speakers to master their mother tongue, while the non-native speakers have the advantage of unfamiliarity able to convey the lack of foreign language being studied by the learners with the use of an intermediary language. However, the most important thing is not a native or non-native status of her. That essence is whether native or non-native teachers have good competence in the field of linguistic and teaching (pedagogic). If both the teacher competencies that are expected then they are considered as a teacher who is eligible to teach. In any case in that both are relatively equal competence, then, of course, native who is better, because after all a native speaker has advantages compared with the non-native, namely in the linguistic field. A mother-language speakers, certainly will be more fluent and familiar contexts and meanings contained in language that is sometimes not able to master.
